The city of University Park celebrated the dedication of Shaddock Park on Tuesday afternoon.
In December 2019, the city council directed city staff to collaborate with Bill Shaddock to develop the lot at 4084 Lovers Lane into a new city park after Shaddock expressed his intention to donate the property for that purpose. Construction began in May 2020, and the work was completed last month. The park features lush greenery, stone benches, and paved walkways, with a fountain serving as the centerpiece.
